Rites of Summer

Hey Kiddo,

Summer is well under way and we’re doing many of the things we usually do.

Mont Cascades #

We made it up to Mont Cascades water park with a couple of your friends. My favorite is the toilet bowl (properly, I think it is called the cyclone), where you get shot down into a bowl in which you spin around until you go down the drain. Your favorite changes from year to year– I think it was the ‘black and yellow’ this year.

There is a weigh in to see if 2 people are able to go on Black Magic together– and this year you and I weren’t able to go together😢 We got a great day for the outing and had a great time.

Strawberry Picking #

We made our way out to do some strawberry picking this year. We (mostly you and Mum) filled our basket in short order and were off to find things to do with our strawberries. Mum did a great job making strawberry ice cream, and they’ve also been great over yoghourt.

The summer is flying by kiddo. Got to make sure to take time and enjoy it. With all our love, Mum & Dad
